The South Caldwell Symphonic Band represents the largest cross section of our band, usually filled with 9th - 12th grade musicians.  Instrumentation is capped in each section and is determined by audition, not by seniority.  The ensemble requires a commitment of the highest level as students are expected to prepare and perform music of exceeding difficulty.  

 

The ensemble intends to perform music in the Grade IV to Grade V level, regularly.  Members are expected to:  strive for development in all areas, to audition for honors bands (county, district, and state), and to perform regularly with chamber ensembles.
