The South Caldwell Wind Ensemble represents some of the top musicians in the band.  Instrumentation is capped in each section and is determined by audition, not by seniority.  The ensemble requires a commitment of the highest level as students are expected to prepare and perform music of exceeding difficulty. The ensemble attends MPA annually in Grade VI.  

 

Expectations for members include:  studying with a private instructor, auditioning for honors bands (county, district, and state), perform regularly with chamber ensembles, and where possible, lead our program as ambassadors for music education in our school and in our community.
